Nitesh Shroff is the CEO and co-founder of HealthCloudAI. He got his B.Tech from IIT Madras in 2007 and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA in 2012. His award-winning Ph.D. dissertation focused on developing machine learning techniques for computer vision. Nitesh then worked at Qualcomm for 2 years on computational imaging and shipped novel features on millions of phones including LG, Huawei, etc. In 2014, he started as an early employee at Light, a computational imaging camera startup in silicon valley, where he got the first-hand experience of scaling a silicon-valley company from 8 to 140 employees. After shipping the Light L16 camera, in 2017, he joined Zoox, an autonomous car startup in silicon valley. Here, he trained and developed deep learning models for driving with safety as the first priority. Zoox was acquired by Amazon in July 2020. Nitesh holds more than 30 US patents (at different stages of filing) and has published 10+ peer-reviewed articles in several international conferences and journals. He has done internships at MERL, CISCO, and TI.
